HOW THE BORDER RUN WORKS

Bangkok / Pattaya – Cambodia one day trip

We assist with immigration on both sides, Thai and Cambodian.

Daytrip by vip van each way 4.30 hours with one stop.

You enter Thailand with a 60 days visa exempt stamp or a new entry for valid Multiple Entry Visa. Convenience stores are available at rest areas and border. The duty-free limit is implemented (1L alcohol and 1 box of 200 cigarettes are allowed).

After the formal settlement on both sides of the immigration, When everything is finished, we make our way back to Bangkok or Pattaya. We will also stop once on the return journey, so that you can go to the toilet and more. If there are no delays along the way, you will arrive back at the departure point around 2 pm to 3 pm.

I just got home from doing my first visa run and here’s how it went: We met at the meet up spot, as the vans filled up people were directed to the empty vans until everyone was seated, they gathered our passports then re distributed them as a roll call and to collect the fee. The drive was long but it was well air conditioned I’d suggest to wear a sweater or something comfy and cozy. We stopped a few times briefly before arriving! The process overall was long but there were people every step of the way directing us on where to go. My driver was very kind and attentive even checking to make sure everyone was on board when we made stops and when we finished our run. Now he did drive a little fast but it’s understandable he had to keep up with traffic and I’m sure he wanted to get us there and back as much as we wanted to get there and back, overall it was a good experience! Don’t forget to bring water and snacks if you get hungry on the ride! Thai friendly visa will be my go to from now on!
